DAY 1 - ARRIVAL IN SRINAGAR – LOCAL SIGHTSEEING

Morning: Arrive at Srinagar Airport (SXR), meet your guide, and transfer to your hotel/houseboat. Afternoon: Check in, relax, then visit the iconic Mughal Gardens (Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh) and Shankaracharya Temple. Evening: Enjoy a serene 1-hour Shikara Ride on Dal Lake, witnessing sunset views. Stay: Srinagar Hotel/Houseboat.

DAY 2 - Day Trip to Gulmarg (Snow & Skiing)

A Gulmarg sightseeing trip centers on the stunning Himalayan scenery, highlighted by the world's second-highest Gondola cable car for views of Apharwat Peak, plus exploring meadows like Strawberry Valley & Khilanmarg, serene spots like Alpather Lake & Durung Waterfall, historical sites like St. Mary's Church & Baba Reshi Shrine, and activities like golfing, nature walks (Outer Circle), and winter skiing/snow activities, all set against breathtaking floral landscapes or snow-covered vistas. Top Sights & Activities Gulmarg Gondola: The star attraction! A two-stage cable car offering panoramic Himalayan views, reaching Kongdori and Apharwat Peak. Apharwat Peak: The highest point on the Gondola, a snow-capped wonder in winter, offering incredible vistas. Strawberry Valley & Khilanmarg: Lush, colorful meadows (in summer) perfect for walks, horse riding, and photography. Alpather Lake: A beautiful, often frozen, lake at the foot of Apharwat Peak. St. Mary's Church: A picturesque, historic countryside chapel. Shrine of Baba Reshi: A 13th-century Sufi shrine, a significant religious site. Gulmarg Biosphere Reserve: Home to unique flora and fauna; great for nature lovers. Durung Waterfall: A natural wonder with a refreshing cascade. Gulmarg Golf Course: One of the world's highest, offering scenic golfing. Outer Circle Walk: A popular trail offering continuous panoramic views. Seasonal Highlights Summer (May-Oct): "Meadow of Flowers" with vibrant blooms, lush green valleys, horse riding, and trekking. Winter (Dec-Feb): A skier's paradise with abundant snow, White Christmas festivities, and snow sports. Overnight: Return to Srinagar for a hotel stay.

DAY 3 - Excursion to Sonamarg

The drive will begin after a healthy breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy the route as you drive along a gushing river that flows down from snowy heights into the dense woodlands of firs and silver birches. In Sonamarg, your first touring destination will be Thajiwas Glacier. This glacier is covered with snow throughout the year. This place makes for a perfect location to click amazing pictures to cherish for life. The snow-covered mountains all around you will magnetise you to come back to this place again and again. For adventure enthusiasts, there are adrenaline pumping activities such as camping, trekking, horse riding, sledging, angling, alpine skiing and white water rafting. You can also enjoy a trekking expedition at Vishansar Lake. During winters, the lake is completely frozen and in summers it is surrounded by lush greenery. Sonamarg offers the chance to unwind amidst its scenic vistas. So, head out for a leisurely walk around the meadows. End your day by heading back to your hotel or houseboat in Srinagar for dinner and a night stay.

DAY 4 - Srinagar to Pahalgam

Have your breakfast and then we will drive you to the enchanting Pahalgam. The journey from Srinagar to Pahalgam will greet you with saffron fields dotted with (in season) vibrant purple flowers offering fabulous sights! Our first destination will be the truly magical Betaab Valley which got its name from the superhit Bollywood movie ‘Betaab’ as it was shot in this valley. The lovely Lidder River passes through this valley of immense greenery and mountain beauty. The next Pahalgam attraction on our list is Chandanwari Valley (7 km) at an altitude of 2,895 m. It also serves as a base for the famous Hindu pilgrimage ‘Amarnath Yatra’. If you happen to come here in winter, enjoy sledding and treat your eyes to glaciers melting away into the Lidder River. After enjoying here, we drive to the enchanting Aru Valley located at an altitude of 2,414 m. It is a place to witness the magic of Nature encompassing snow-covered mountain peaks, bewildering meadows, lakes, and great opportunities for heli-skiing and skiing in winter. It is a starting point for trekking tours to Tarsar Lake and Kolahoi Glacier. In the evening, we will drive you to the hotel in Pahalgam. Check in, have dinner, and enjoy a good night’s sleep.

DAY 5 - Cherished Farewells & Departure

Drive from Pahalgam to Srinagar Upon arrival in Srinagar, proceed for local shopping before departure. Booking and Payment

  • A booking with Yatriwala Holidays is considered confirmed only after we receive the required advance payment and issue a confirmation invoice.

  • Your booking is provisional until this payment is received and acknowledged by us.

  • 2. Advance Payment

    • A minimum 30% advance of the total tour cost is required at the time of booking to secure your itinerary, hotel accommodations, transportation, and other services.

    • For bookings made during peak seasons, long weekends, or special train/hotel reservations, 100% payment at the time of booking may be required depending on supplier policies.

    3. Balance Payment

    • The remaining balance must be paid at least 7–14 days prior to the departure date, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

    • If full payment isn’t received by the due date, Yatriwala Holidays reserves the right to cancel your booking, and the advance payment may be forfeited as per cancellation policy.

    • Online: UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm), Razorpay, Debit/Credit Cards

    • Bank Transfer: NEFT / RTGS / IMPS

    • Other: Any method communicated by Yatriwala Holidays in advance

    Note: Any applicable payment gateway charges, bank fees, or credit card surcharges shall be borne by the customer.

    5. Booking Holds

    • Your itinerary, hotel rooms, vehicle reservations, and other services remain on hold only after advance payment confirmation.

    • Until the advance is received and confirmed, services are not guaranteed and may be released by suppliers at their discretion.

Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation Policy

  • All cancellation requests must be made in writing via email or official WhatsApp from the registered contact details.

  • The date of receipt of the written cancellation request shall be considered the effective cancellation date.

Cancellation Charges

The following charges will apply based on the number of days prior to the departure date:

  • More than 45 days before departure: 20% of the total package cost

  • 30 to 44 days before departure: 50% of the total package cost

  • Less than 30 days before departure or No-Show: 100% of the total package cost (no refund)

Note: Cancellation charges are applied to cover non-refundable hotel, transport, and service provider costs.


Refund Policy

  • Eligible refunds, if any, will be processed within 7–14 working days after receipt of the written cancellation request.

  • Refunds will be issued through the same payment mode used at the time of booking.

  • Bank charges, payment gateway fees, or service charges (if any) are non-refundable.


Non-Refundable Services

  • No refund will be provided for unused services, including early check-out, unutilized sightseeing, or meals not taken.

  • Certain services such as peak season bookings, special hotel deals, transport blocks, or promotional packages may be non-refundable, as clearly communicated at the time of booking.


Force Majeure

  • No refunds will be provided for cancellations caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, weather conditions, political disturbances, road closures, strikes, pandemics, or government restrictions.

  • In such cases, Yatriwala Holidays will assist in rescheduling or future travel credits, subject to supplier policies.


Amendments

  • Date changes or itinerary modifications are subject to availability and supplier charges.

  • Any additional cost arising due to changes will be borne by the customer.

  • Pricing and Inclusions

     

    Package Pricing

    • All holiday package prices are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR).

    • Prices are based on travel dates, duration, hotel category, room type, number of travellers, and seasonal demand.

    • Prices shown are indicative and subject to availability at the time of booking.

    • Final package cost will be confirmed in the booking confirmation invoice shared by Yatriwala Holidays.


    What’s Included

    Unless stated otherwise in your itinerary, our Kashmir holiday packages generally include:

    • Accommodation in hotels and/or houseboats as per selected category

    • Daily meals as mentioned in the itinerary (breakfast and/or dinner)

    • Airport pickup & drop (where applicable)

    • All sightseeing and transfers by private vehicle as per itinerary

    • Driver allowance, fuel charges, tolls, parking, and state taxes

    • Shikara ride on Dal Lake (if specified in the package)

    • Local assistance and on-ground support

    Only services clearly mentioned in the itinerary or inclusions section are covered.


    What’s Not Included

    The following are not included unless explicitly mentioned:

    • Airfare or train tickets

    • Gondola tickets, pony rides, adventure activities, or entry fees

    • Lunches, beverages, and personal expenses

    • Travel insurance or medical insurance

    • Tips, laundry, phone calls, camera fees, or porter charges,Union cabs at some destination spots

    • Any service not specifically mentioned under “Inclusions”

Liability

  1. Role of Yatriwala Holidays
    Yatriwala Holidays acts solely as a travel facilitator and booking agent for hotels, airlines, transport operators, and other independent service providers. We do not own or control these services and therefore cannot be held responsible for their acts, omissions, or defaults.

  2. Third-Party Services
    Yatriwala Holidays shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, delay, or inconvenience caused by service providers, including but not limited to hotels, airlines, transport companies, or local vendors.

  3. Events Beyond Control (Force Majeure)
    We are not responsible for any loss, cancellation, delay, or alteration of services due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:

    • Natural disasters or adverse weather conditions

    • Political unrest, strikes, or civil disturbances

    • Road closures, flight delays/cancellations

    • Government restrictions or regulatory changes

    • Pandemics or public health emergencies

  4. Personal Responsibility
    Travelers are responsible for their personal belongings, travel documents, health, and safety throughout the journey. Yatriwala Holidays shall not be liable for loss or theft of personal items.

  5. Medical & Health Issues
    Yatriwala Holidays is not responsible for any medical emergencies, injuries, or health-related issues during travel. Guests are advised to arrange appropriate travel and medical insurance prior to departure.

  6. Itinerary Changes
    We reserve the right to modify or alter itineraries due to operational requirements, weather conditions, or safety concerns. Such changes do not constitute grounds for refund.

  7. Limitation of Liability
    In any event, Yatriwala Holidays’ liability, if any, shall be limited strictly to the amount paid directly to us for the services booked.
